Hits were hard to come by in this game as both pitching staffs had their best stuff from the very beginning. by Joe Bello New York Longhorns Tassielli and Mayhem Baseball Kalkau battled in a LI Boys of Summer 14u National Division double header early on Saturday morning. The twin bill featured offense of all sorts on both sides, with some superb pitching as well. The Longhorns and Mayhem split the double header having identical scores in both games. Mayhem took game one 8-0, while the Longhorns rallied back to take game two 8-0. For a game that lasted just four innings due to time constraints, there was no shortage of offense. The teams combined to steal 31 bases, 18 for the Junior Ducks and 13 for the Mayhem.
