Lindenhurst Looks to Bounce Back After Tough Season

Last year the team had 2 seniors and 4 freshmen who received significant playing time. “It was a young squad who had a lot of learning to do and they did learn,” Coach Rob Moore said in an interview with Axcess Baseball. The coaching staff at Lindenhurst decided to have one-on-one conferences with each player right after the season ended. This set up goals for the team going into their respective summer ball teams. Huntington Looks to Turn the Corner in 2026

Special thanks to Metamorphosis Landscape Design for sponsoring this year’s series by Hunter Javeline After a disappointing season last year, the Huntington Blue Devils have a bunch of underclassmen who will make an impact for this upcoming season. Huntington went 2-17 in a difficult league 3 last year. Early in the season, Huntington took two of three from North Babylon and then fell flat. The expectations were high last season with star left fielder Harry Uvena leading the way. He is currently playing college baseball at SUNY Oswego. Last year he batted .577 and had an OPS of 1.472. Westbury Prepares to Make Switch to AAA from Countywide

Special thanks to Metamorphosis Landscape Design for sponsoring this year’s series by Hunter Javeline  After a year of hard work and dedication, the Westbury Green Dragons finished 12-8 and earned a promotion to the AAA conference from the Countywide League. Transitioning from a non-playoff eligible league to a playoff eligible league will challenge this team more than ever before. In 2022, Coach Ryan Mulholland took over the program and they haven’t looked back. Prior to that, they were winless for 2 seasons. Each year they have been improving; from 7 to 11 and last year to 12 wins. Coach Mulholland won Coach of the Year in 2025.
