Westbury, NY – The LI Red Dogs faced off against the LI Thunder at Eisenhower Park on the first day of the East Coast Columbus Day Tournament.

Red Dogs also continued to find their rhythm behind Scott’s performance. Giordano added another run with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fifth inning, and a two-run single by Gianni Rizzuto brought the Red Dogs’ run total to six after six innings.

Red Dogs emerged victorious as Brandon Scott was dealing on the mound all game, finishing with 12 strikeouts and only one earned run. Scott continued to finish off a very strong. Holding the Thunder to just one run the entire game.

Scott struck out three of the final five Thunder batters he faced to seal the 6-1 victory for the Red Dogs.
